First Responders Financial
Project Description:
First Responders Financial's mission is to bring financial services and products that are in the best interest of all first responders from every part of the country. And to do it with the same passion first responders bring to their jobs every day.
Dennis Smith (author of Report from Engine Co.82) and Peter Hayden (Former FDNY Chief of Department) decided to start this company to give our nation's first responders access to premium financial solutions. (For those who don't know, we don't pay our civil servants very well, nor do we insure them very well either).
This simple design was intended to allow for a much easier navigation than its previous inception while working at isocurve. A large concession was also made to have the site be easily editable. I produced the HTML and most of the JavaScript based off of jQuery. I also created a simple, but powerful, file system based CMS for ease of editability and extensibility. It makes it so that a normal HTML developer won't have to worry about using convoluted online WYSIWYG editors, and those without HTML skills could easily edit online
